This Privacy Policy applies to all Invent-X products and services, including:
- The Invenzzle website at invenzzle.com and any related web pages hosted by Invent-X, which include the daily Invenzzle puzzle, community chat, and account features.
Where practices differ between the mobile app and the website, we note those differences clearly below.
Information We Collect
We may collect information about you depending on the content and features you use.
- Personal Account Information. When you register for an account, we collect your username, email address, and password. Passwords are stored using secure hashing techniques. This applies to both the mobile app and the website.
- Usage and Progress Data. We collect information related to your puzzle progress, scores, streaks, badges, and activity within the Service to provide progress tracking and leaderboard features when you are logged in.
- Community Chat Content. Messages you post in the daily community chat are stored on our servers and visible to other users. Posts are associated with your username.
- Cookies and Local Storage (Website). The Invenzzle website uses browser localStorage to store your theme preference, puzzle progress for guests, and your cookie consent choice. We do not set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party advertising cookies may be set by Google after you provide consent. See Section 06 for details.
- Log and Technical Data. Our hosting provider (Firebase by Google) may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and access timestamps when you visit the website. This data is used for security and performance monitoring.
How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account.
- Allow you to track your progress, streaks, and badges across the mobile app and website.
- Display your posts in the community chat and send you notifications about replies and mentions.
- Deliver advertising via Google Mobile Ads (mobile app) and Google AdSense or AdMob web SDK (website), only after you have provided consent where required.
- Contact you about your use of the Service and request feedback.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Disclosure of Your Information
- By Law or to Protect Rights. If we believe disclosure is necessary to respond to legal process or protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
- Third-Party Service Providers. We use Firebase (Google) for database, authentication, and hosting services. Firebase may process your data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
- Advertising Partners (with Consent). If you have consented, we share your device advertising identifier (mobile) or allow Google's advertising cookies to be set (website) to facilitate personalized advertisements. We do not share your email, username, or password with advertising partners.
Third-Party Services and Advertising
We use Google services for advertising. Google may collect information about your activity to provide personalized ads.

- We also use Firebase for authentication, database, and hosting. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies and Web Tracking
This section applies to users of the Invenzzle website.
- Essential localStorage. We use browser localStorage to store your theme preference, guest puzzle progress, and your cookie consent decision. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. It is essential to the website functioning correctly and does not require consent.
- Advertising Cookies (with Consent). If you consent to advertising cookies via our cookie banner, Google's ad SDK will be loaded and may set third-party cookies on your device to provide personalized advertising across websites. These cookies are set by Google, not by us.
- No Advertising Cookies Without Consent. We do not load Google's advertising SDK or allow any advertising cookies to be set until you explicitly accept via our cookie consent banner. If you decline, you will see no ads and no advertising cookies will be set.
- How to Manage Cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. You can also change your consent choice by clearing your localStorage for this site. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Mobile App Tracking (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing your device's IDFA for advertising purposes. If you decline, we will not access your IDFA and will not track you across apps and websites for advertising purposes.
You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device's Settings.
Your Rights and Choices
- Account Access and Deletion. You may review, update, or delete your account at any time through the Settings page in the mobile app or the profile page on the website.
- California Residents (CCPA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@invent-x.com.
- European Users (GDPR). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@invent-x.com.
- Cookie Consent (Website). You can withdraw your consent to advertising cookies at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site and declining when prompted again.
Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Passwords are hashed before storage. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. However, no method of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Community chat posts are retained indefinitely unless you delete them or request account deletion. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Children's Privacy
Invent-X is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have any information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@invent-x.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy within the app, on our website, and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
