Scope of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of all Invent-X products and services, including:
- The Invenzzle website at invenzzle.com and any related web pages hosted by Invent-X.
By accessing or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
User Accounts
You may use parts of the Service without an account, including playing the daily Invenzzle puzzle as a guest. Creating an account unlocks progress tracking, badges, streaks, community chat, and other features.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You may not use another user's account without their permission.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans is prohibited.
Community Chat Rules
Both the mobile app and website include a daily community chat tied to each day's Invenzzle puzzle. By participating in the chat, you agree to the following rules:
- Be respectful and kind to other users at all times.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language of any kind.
- No spam, excessive self-promotion, or repetitive messages.
- No sharing of personal information belonging to others.
- Keep discussion relevant to the daily puzzle and the world of inventions.
- Spoilers are permitted in the daily chat. Users are warned before entering.
- Do not impersonate other users, public figures, or Invent-X staff.
User-Generated Content
When you post messages in the community chat, submit suggestions, or contribute any other content to the Service, you grant Invent-X a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, store, and distribute that content within the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you post, and that the content does not violate any third-party rights, applicable laws, or these Terms.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem objectionable, without prior notice or liability.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to the Invenzzle puzzle format, Inventions library, Fun Facts, Quiz content, badge designs, scoring system, and all associated software, are the exclusive property of Invent-X and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Invent-X name, Invenzzle name, logos, and all related marks are trademarks of Invent-X. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
Advertising
The Service, including both the mobile app and website, may display advertisements.
- Website. Advertisements are served by Google's advertising services. Ad-related cookies will only be set after you provide explicit consent via our cookie consent banner. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set and no personalized ads are shown.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for any products or services they promote.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service in any way that:
- Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app or website.
- Uses automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the Service.
- Cheats, exploits glitches, or uses unauthorized means to manipulate puzzle results or scores.
- Impersonates any person or entity, including Invent-X staff or other users.
Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. Daily puzzles are published on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for any missed puzzles due to technical issues or downtime.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Invent-X shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms within the app, on our website, and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Arizona.
